A Court of Kings

A Court of Kings is an ongoing D&D Drag King show in Manhattan, NY.
As the DM and co-producer of this series alongside co-producer and host Leopard Killa, I created the fantasy world of El’ Lastra. This world centers around an interest in diversity in terrain, politics, and interdependence in a world were mortals, immortals and sentient creatures and plant life abound and intermingle.
A Court of Kings is an anthology style live-play show within the world of El’ Lastra showcasing a rotating cast of beloved drag kings.

Storyforgers
I am a freelance DM with Storyforgers.
Storyforgers is an international D&D for hire service that books clients, discussing their desires, their group size, and scheduling and then links the clients with their freelance Dungeon Masters.
The stories I have created with clients have been a mix of horror, high fantasy, and urban fantasy, playing with people ranging from very experienced to first time players having no idea what they’re getting into.
Campaigns

As for ongoing campaigns, I have three ongoing campaigns.
Two are campaigns inspired by D.E.B.S. and Totally Spies using the Never Stop Blowing Up system. These games are a love letter to queer high femme camp of the early aughts and to the not so subtle homo-eroticism of early 2000’s bros.
One campaign is a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign, with a central theme of what does it mean to age, to lose oneself and people you love to time, and to just having an outrageous amount of love for the people you find along the way.
In gearing up for a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign one of my players asked if he could be a Pixie who worked at the Witchlight Carnival. He wanted to be a Barbarian who protected the Pixie Carnival within the fair. I loved this idea and told him to give me some time. In the next few days I spent time consulting the WOTC Monster Manual, Players Handbook, and the Wild Beyond the Witchlight book itself for all their information about pixies.
I took time to consider ways to give this species applicable fey magics as well as provide realistic mechanics for their stature in a way that didn’t feel like punishing the player, but rather gave them a realistic feeling of playing a tiny character. I also wanted there to be repercussions if the player was to pursue becoming a larger creature, leaving behind Pixie Nimbleness in pursuit of their alternate goals, in a way that acknowledges and respects that when your body changes it acts differently.
The plain text file for the Pixie Species can be found here.
More to come on this page! I am also currently running two D.E.B.S. and Totally Spies inspired games that I will be posting more about the worlds I’ve been building, the items they encounter, and all sorts of shenanigans we get up to.
