In gearing up for a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign one of my players asked if he could be a Pixie who worked at the Witchlight Carnival. He wanted to be a Barbarian who protected the Pixie Carnival within the fair. I loved this idea and told him to give me some time. In the next few days I spent time consulting the WOTC Monster Manual, Players Handbook, and the Wild Beyond the Witchlight book itself for all their information about pixies.
I took time to consider ways to give this species applicable fey magics as well as provide realistic mechanics for their stature in a way that didn’t feel like punishing the player, but rather gave them a realistic feeling of playing a tiny character. I also wanted there to be repercussions if the player was to pursue becoming a larger creature, leaving behind Pixie Nimbleness in pursuit of their alternate goals, in a way that acknowledges and respects that when your body changes it acts differently.

More to come on this page! I am also currently running two D.E.B.S. and Totally Spies inspired games that I will be posting more about the worlds I’ve been building, the items they encounter, and all sorts of shenanigans we get up to.
